Singer was born November 26th 1986 on the 26th of November, 1986 in Santa Monica California. The singer is the sole child of Vincenzo Barba. In 2006, she and her parents moved with their family to Point Pleasant New Jersey. After moving to New Jersey, she finished her studies in Red Bank Catholic High School. She then attended Catholic University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture. A violinist since age 4"Violingirl" was her nickname. In recognition of her skills the violinist was referred to by this name. She also worked as an instructor of violin for children of the surrounding area. At the age of 19 she entered into the 6th American Idol season and performed in the only Free, 1976. However, she was removed from the show after achieving the 16th spot.
