Ford was absent from the world of music for some months after the albums failed to garner much acclaim. The hit album Lita which came out in 1989 was the catalyst for her comeback. Kiss Me Deadly was her most popular hit, along with the ballad Close My Eyes Forever and Kiss Me Deadly. However, the success of her music was brief after which she was absent from the music industry for many years. The release of "Black" on the 15th of November 1995, was immediately followed by "Wicked Wonderland, almost 15 year later. The album she released in the year 2016 titled 'Time-Capsule. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
