Simpson was famous for her relationship with Nick Lachey and her marriage to him. Simpson also appeared on MTV's reality TV show Newlyweds, Nick and Jessica, between 2003 and 2005. Simpson's first Christmas album ReJoyce was released in 2004, and was certified gold. Her debut in the movie The Dukes of Hazzard (2005) as Daisy Duke. She also recorded her own cover of "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" to be used in the soundtrack of the film. She released her fifth studio album, A Public Affair, in 2006 and appeared in the romantic comedy film Employee of the month. With the release of her sixth studio album Do You Know (2008), Simpson moved into the genre of country. Simpson also released The Jessica Simpson Collection, an apparel-focused line that includes 34 product categories. The company is the most successful known celebrity licensing company with more than $1 billion in revenue to the present. In 2010, she was a star on the reality television show The Price of Beauty. She also judged fashion shows for Fashion Star's two seasons between 2012 and 2013. Simpson is married Eric Johnson and has three children.
